There have been 41,712 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 81 more victims with
the virus, the health ministry said Wednesday.
That compares to 58,360 new cases and 113 more victims Tuesday.
Some 233,084 more tests have been done, compared to 329,569
Tuesday.
The positivity rate is up from 17.7% to 17.9%.
Intensive care cases are down three to 251 and hospital
admissions up 69 to 7,062.
The currently positive are 542,792.
The recovered and discharged are 22,493,006.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 23,214,073,
and the death toll 178,275.
