There have been 44,853 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 56 more victims with
the virus, the health ministry said Thursday.
That compares to 45,225 new cases and 43 more victims Wednesday.
Some 222,926 more tests have been done, compared to 224,969
Wednesday.
The positivity rate is steady at 20.1%.
Intensive care cases are up nine to 180 to and hospital
admissions up 115 to 5,188.
The currently positive are 508,524.
The recovered and discharged are 22,007,032.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 22,692,912,
and the death toll 177,356.
