A man stole a water taxi in Venice and
sped along the Grand Canal before being stopped by police
Wednesday.
The local man, who has mental issues and has staged similar
stunts in the past, stole the powerboat at Tessera Airport and
drove it into the centre of the lagoon city.
The wild ride, which ended at Ca' Foscari, was captured on video
by residents, tourists, and attendees at the Venice Film
Festival which ends on Saturday.
