Italy's COVID infections are now 100
times a year ago, regional health service agency AGENAS said
Thursday.
"All over Italy we have ERs that are exploding because of
COVID-19", said AGENAS President Enrico Coscioni.
"With respect to the same week of July last year we have 100
times more infections and four times higher admissions." he
said.
"Critical issues are extremely strong because of COVID-19," said
Coscioni.
He was speaking at an event, 'Health Laboratory 20/30', which he
called "an important moment for discussion with the best minds
that are dealing with health management at this critical time".
