Italian tax police on Monday cited 50
people for illegally getting the government's citizenship wage'
basic income benefit in the Tuscan city of Pistoia including a
gang of alleged drug pushers.
Police said the total of illegally obtained benefit amounted to
some 406,553 euros.
The positions of some 3,300 people were verified.
The 50 were cited for illicit accrual of government benefits.
