Several copies of historic films went
up in smoke in a fire that destroyed a cinema and TV warehouse
in Rome on Tuesday.
The flames and smoke, fueled by fast-burning movie film and
other flammable material, could be seen in much of the Italian
capital.
The Centro Servizi Cine TV was on Via Tiburtina, one of the main
roads leading out of Rome to the east.
No one was hurt in the fire, which was eventually out out by
fire services.
