Europe needs pragmatic federalism if
it is to successfully make the energy, economic and health
transition, Premier Mario Draghi said Wednesday.
"The pandemic taught us that countries cannot face all problems
individually," he said.
Discounting "dreams of a 360 degree federalism", the Italian
premier called for "pragmatic federalism that consists in
finding solutions to practical questions that must be faced to
understand if Europe wants to have a really significant role.".
