Italian police on Monday arrested 11
members of the Calabrian 'Ndrangheta mafia after convictions
were handed down on them last November.
They were found guilty of being members of 'Ndrangheta clans
based in the Vibo Valentia area.
The arrests were made in the province of Vibo Valentia, in
Lombardy and in Lazio.
The mobsters have been sentenced to jail terms ranging from 12
to 20 years.
They have been convicted of mafia association and other mafia
crimes.
They were all at large due to the cancellation of arrests
warrants issued in December 2019.
They have now been re-arrested after flight risk and the risk of
re-offending were recalculated, police said.
