Fauci is ready to work with a new anti-COVID-pandemic centre in
Siena, Health Minister Roberto Speranza said at the end of his
mission to the US Tuesday, on which he also met the famed
immunologist.
"Mr Fauci has expressed his willingness to collaborate with the
hub," Speranza told reporters.
"We are investing 360 million euros in the anti-pandemic hub
that we will set up in Siena and Fauci has voiced willingness to
collaborate with our scientists, who are already working on this
objective.
"Er are very pleased at this because we deem Fauci to be one of
the principal personalities at a global level in the fight
against the pandemic".
