A murder-attempted suicide is
suspected in Ravenna after a woman in her eighties was found
dead with several knife wound son her body and her husband, a
few years younger than her, was hospitalised in serious
condition after throwing himself off the balcony of the flat.
The victim, Maria Ballardini, would have turned 83 next
September.
Her husband, Mario Claudio Cognola, 77, is a pensioner born near
Trento but resident in Ravenna for a long time.
He is in the ICU of the Bufalini Hospital in Cesena.
An autopsy has been requested for Ballardini.
