Three teenagers were arrested Thursday
on suspicion of viciously beating up a 17-year-old boy at the
lake in Rome's southern Fascist-era EUR district in early
October.
The alleged victim was walking at the lakeside with a girlfriend
when the alleged gang set upon him, beating him unconscious.
Taken to hospital, doctors found the boy had a broken jaw.
The three alleged assailants have been placed in a home for
minors near Rome.
