A nine-year-old girl was knocked
over and killed by what Italians call a 'road pirate' near
Brescia Sunday night, police said Monday.
The incident took place at the small town of Bagnolo Mella.
The girl was said to be "of foreign origin".
Her mother slightly hurt by the car while her father ans sister
were unhurt.
Police are seeking a grey SUV.
An autopsy has been ordered.
Police said the driver, when caught, would be charged with
vehicular homicide and failing to stop and offer assistance.
"We saw the pirate's car, now the police must find him. No one
will give us back our daughter," said the father.
