Rome's Termini station, other
stations in the capital and airports there will be subjected to
special coronavirus checks starting June 3 when inter-regional
travel resumes.
As well, contact tracing will be boosted in the whole Lazio
region and suspect cases will be directed to drive-in centres,
regional health councillor Alessio D'Amato said.
He called for "tracing at a national level" and reiterated
that "the priority goal is to defend Rome and Lazio".
"We mustn't lower our guard in view of the June 3
reopenings," said D'Amato.
