Italian airports have lost some 45
million passengers in three months, the Assaeroporti association
said on Monday.
The Italian airport group's president, Fabrizio Palenzona,
said pending and upcoming government measures were "the last
chances to ensure the mobility of the country."
He said they should also restore links to Europe and the
world and save thousands of jobs.
"We cannot squander this opportunity: the damage would be
irreparable", he said.
