Four Italians who were part of a group that was hit by a deadly avalanche in northern Pakistani on Monday have been taken to safety by helicopter along with two Pakistani guides, the wife of one of the mountaineers said on Tuesday. A Pakistani climber who was part of the same group was killed by the avalanche. "They have been saved and they are heading to the nearest village in the valley," Isabella Bellò, the wife of 57-year-old expedition leader Tarcisio Bellò, told ANSA. Several members of the group were injured, including Bellò, who broke some bones.
