Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi has
signed an order sacking the whole of the board of the city's
troubled trash-management company AMA, sources said Monday.
The decision was announced during a meeting in which Raggi's
executive approved a motion that said the council had taken note
of the company's failure to achieve its set targets, the sources
said.
The company has been put in the hands of its audit committee
until the new board is appointed.
