Prosecution forensics experts
said Monday that murder victim Simona Simonini was strangled to
death after being kicked, punched, and bitten.
The victim's 46-year-old boyfriend Elio Cadei has been
arrested for the murder and says he can't remember what happened
because he was in an alcohol-induced blackout.
Both the victim and the attacker had elevated blood alcohol
levels and had taken anti-depressives, the experts said.
The murder took place November 16 in the northern village
of Provaglio d'Iseo in Brescia province.
