Italian confesses to London infanticide

Federica Boscolo Gnolo, 31, said she killed Farah, aged 2 months

(ANSA) - London, April 21 - A 31-year-old Italian woman has confessed to murdering her two-month-old daughter and hiding her body, the Italian consulate confirmed Tuesday.
    Federica Boscolo Gnolo, a native of the seaside town of Chioggia in the Venice lagoon, confessed during a pretrial hearing.
    Gnolo has been in detention since January, when she was arrested after reporting her daughter Farah as missing.
    The child's body has not yet been found.
