The bullet-riddled body of a woman
found near a bicycling trail in woods between the Tuscan cities
of Lucca and Pisa on Tuesday has been identified as that of a
Nigerian woman aged 46, police said Wednesday.
The victim, who was found by two young German tourists, was
not named.
An autopsy will be hoping to find traces of the killer,
police said.
The body had five gunshot wounds, they said.
Police have speculated that the victim was a prostitute.
The body was found in a pine forest near Torre del Lago in
Lucca province.
