Judges sentenced serial killer Bartolomeo Gagliano to six years and 10 months in prison on Wednesday, for crimes committed during his escape from prison in 2013 while he was out on a pass to see his mother, ANSA sources said.
Gagliano was charged with escaping prison, kidnapping, and armed car theft, all of which took place during a three-day run in December 2013 after he didn't return to prison as scheduled.
Gagliano was eventually found and taken into custody in Menton, France.
