(ANSA) - Milan, October 14 - Nutella on Wednesday said it
will provide all the chocolate spread necessary to "fill" the
results of an attempt by Italian and French bakers at Expo on
Sunday to make the world's largest baguette.
The current record, held by a supermarket in Vietnam, is a
baguette 111 metres long.
Bakers at Expo on Sunday are aiming for a loaf that will
reach 120 metres.
Work will commence at 9:30 a.m., when a team of 20 Italian
bakers and 7 French bakers will rigorously follow the original
French recipe to construct the loaf, a task they expect will
take about six hours.
Nutella has already received one prize at Expo: that of
"Most International Breakfast in the World" on September 13, a
contest in which people from 55 different nationalities
participated.
