(ANSA) - Milan, September 24- The United States' pavilion at the Expo world fair in Milan said on Thursday it had welcomed its four millionth visitor.
    "The fact that the USA pavilion has shared its message with four million visitors is an extraordinary accomplishment," said Commissioner General of the pavilion Ambassador Douglas T.
    Hickey.
    "Our success can be attributed to an engaging pavilion created thanks to the generous contribution of sponsors, our student ambassadors and the numerous meetings and events that are organised," he said.
    The pavilion holds the record for the highest number of visitors in one day, which reached 58,213 on September 19.
