RCS, the Italian publishing group
that publishes Italy's biggest-selling daily Gazzetta dello
Sport and its biggest-selling non-sports daily Corriere della
Sera, on Monday posted a nine-month profit of 32 million euros,
up from 27.8 in the same period last year.
RCS's gross operating margin increased from 82.1 to 91.4 million
and its operating profit from 42.8 to 51.5 million.
Revenues slightly decreased, from 606.8 to 602.3 million, while
net financial debt decreased from 23.4 to 19.7 million.
For the entire financial year, the group believes that it is
possible to "confirm the objective of achieving strongly
positive margins (EBITDA) in 2024, increasing compared to those
achieved in 2023 and to continue with further cash generation
from operating management".
