The future of Alfa Romeo will be
all-Italian, the Stellantis sports car unit said Friday.
The new Stelvio in 2025 and the new Giulia in 2026 will be
conceived, designed and produced in Italy, at the Cassino plant
between Rome and Naples, taking advantage of the skills and
experience of the Italian team and the Centro Stile, said
Jean-Philippe Imparato, CEO of the Biscione brand.
The Giulia and the Stelvio will be "two authentic Italian
jewels, exported all over the world, establishing Alfa Romeo as
the global premium brand of Stellantis", said Imparato.
The Stelvio will be the first car among Stellantis' European
brands to be produced on the new STLA Large platform in Italy.
