The Milan stock exchange made big
gains on Tuesday while Italy's State bond yields dropped
significantly amid investor hopes that central banks' tightening
of monetary policy may have peaked.
The Milan bourse's FTSE Mib index closed up 3.42% on 21,690
points on Tuesday.
The yield on the 10-year BTP State bonds, meanwhile, dropped to
4.1%, down 10 basis points on Monday's closing value.
