Moody's said Thursday that it has cut
its Italian GDP growth forecast for 2022 to 2.3%, down from the
3.2% it predicted to months ago.
It also cut its forecast for 2023 from 2.1% to 1.7% with the
outlook clouded by the war in Ukraine.
It has reduced its forecast for the eurozone for 2022 from 2.5%
to 2.3%, but it sees a slight improvement in 2023, with the
predicted growth rising from 2.2% to 2.3%.
