Jean Pierre Mustier, the CEO of
Italy's biggest bank UniCredit, on Wednesday said "we'll do
everything on our own, the State will not enter" its upcoming
capital hike. Mustier declined to say how big the hike would be.
Asked to confirm whether the hike would be 13 billion euros, he
replied "No way, wait for Tuesday". On the possible impact of
Italy's political crisis, he said "Italy is a fantastic country,
elections don't create problems for us".
