The stock of Fiat Chrysler
Automobiles (FCA) came under pressure on the Milan stock
exchange on Tuesday after Chris Grundler, the head of the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), was quoted by Bloomberg
as saying the carmaker needed to spend $5.1 billion to comply
with American fuel economy standards for 2025.
FCA's share price was 3% down after almost three hours of
trading.
