(ANSA) - Rho-Pero, September 1 - Mipel, Milan's
international trade show for handbags and accessories, opened on
Tuesday with more than 200 international leather goods brands at
the Fiera Milano exhibition centre.
In its 108th edition, the spring/summer 2016 collection is
taking place alongside theMICAM footwear trade show, both of
which run through September 4.
Mipel has the support of both the Ministry for Economic
Development and the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE).
This season's edition features an area called "The
Glamourous", dedicated to 10 designers who represent
contemporary "Made in Italy" creativity: Badura, Barbara Bonner,
Benedetta Bruzziches, Alessandro Enriquez, Filippo Fanini,
Gedebe, Azzurra Gronchi, Giancarlo Petriglia, Salar and V73.
Another area in the exhibition space, called "Sintesi"
(Synthesis), highlights iconic seasonal pieces from each of the
participating brands.
