Two of Italy's Big Three trade union
federations, CGIL and UIL, on Monday confirmed a general strike
November 29 against the 2025 budget bill despite talks earlier
Monday with the government on the package.
Respective general secretaries Maurizio Landini and Pierpaolo
Bombardieri made the announcement at the end of the meeting with
the government at Palazzo Chigi.
The third of the three main labour organisations, CISL, is not
taking part in the strike.
