Holders Italy have qualified for
Novembers Davis Cup finals in Malaga as winners of Group A after
beating the Netherlands 2-1 on Sunday.
The Azzurri maintained their perfect record in the group thanks
to the victories of Matteo Berrettini and Flavio Cobolli over
Botic van de Zandschulp and Tallon Griekspoor.respectively in
the singles.
Italy's world number one Jannik Sinner sat out the group
encounters as he rested after his recent US Open triumph but is
expected to lead the Azzurri's campaign in Malaga.
