Pope Francis on Friday wrapped up his
12-day tour of Southeast Asia and Oceania, the longest of his
pontificate.
After a brief ceremony at Singapore's Changi international
airport attended by the culture minister, the pontiff boarded
his over 12-hour-long flight to Rome's Fiumicino airport.
Addressing an inter-religious meeting with youths in Singapore
prior to his departure, the pope said the young "must be
critical" but "constructive", while being "courageous and able
to look forward".
The pontiff criticized youths who "don't risk, who are afraid to
make mistakes" and who choose "a comfort zone".
Francis, who listened to the experience of three young women and
men of different faiths, highlighted that inter-religious
dialogue requires courage and respect
Finally, he encouraged the young attendees to "use the media"
without "becoming enslaved by them".
