Seasonally adjusted industrial
production in July 2024 decreased by 0.3% in the euro area and
by 0.1% in the EU compared to June this year, according to the
first estimates released on Friday by European statistical
office Eurostat.
In June 2024, industrial production remained unchanged in the
euro area and grew by 0.1% in the EU, Eurostat said.
In July 2024, compared to July 2023, industrial production fell
by 2.2% in the euro area and by 1.7% in the EU, according to the
European statistical bureau.
Italy recorded a 0.9% decrease from June 2024, said Eurostat.
