Several climbers were reportedly hit
by an avalanche on the Castore mountain in the Monte Rosa massif
on Monday, sources said.
The Alpine Rescue Service is unable to use its helicopters
because of bad weather condition so it has sent out a team on
foot, the sources said.
Four mountaineers, two Italians and two South Koreans, were
reported missing on the Italian side of Mont Blanc at the
weekend.
The weather conditions have made it impossible for rescuers to
search for them so far.
