A 26-year-old man from Ecuador was
arrested Tuesday on suspicion of raping a 23-year-old Roman
woman after a night out in a club on the outskirts of the
Italian capital a few days ago.
The alleged victim had met the man some time before on the
Internet, police said.
The alleged incident happened at Trullo.
According to what investigators have reconstructed, after
spending the evening at a bar, the man convinced the woman to go
up to his house at Trullo for a drink and that is where the rape
allegedly took place.
