An Italian quarry owner who was
crushed by a marble slab earlier this week died after four days
in hospital on Saturday in the latest in a spate of fatal
workplace accidents in Italy.
The man, co-owner of the 3Zeta marble quarry in Nuvolera, near
Brescia, who was crushed by a marble slab last Tuesday, died
after four days of agony.
Fabrizio Zanetti, 50, from Serle (Brescia), was hospitalised in
desperate conditions in Bergamo, where he died on Saturday
morning.
