Ginevra Taddeucci on Thursday won a
bronze medal in the women's 10 km marathon swimming event at the
2024 Paris Olympics.
The Italian swimmer finished third behind Sharon van Rouwendaal
of the Netherlands who won gold and Australian Moesha Johnson
who took silver.
The race took place regularly on the Seine after a controversy
over the past few days regarding water pollution levels of the
river that passes through the French capital and the
cancellation of the first training session.
