Ukraine on Saturday thanked papal
peace envoy Cardinal Matteo Zuppi for helping return a Ukrainian
minor from Russia.
The head of the Office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr
Zelensky, Andriy Yermak, had a telephone conversation with
Zuppi, Pope Francis' envoy for the peace mission in Ukraine and
Russia, the Ukrainian Embassy to the Holy See said on X.
On the occasion Yermak thanked Card. Zuppi for his direct
participation in the process of the return home of the young
Ukrainian Bohdan Yermokhin, previously deported to Russia.
