(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 20 - Italian world number four Jannik
Sinner lost to Serb great Novak Djokovic 6-3, 6-3 in the men's
singles final of the Nitto ATP Finals 2023 in Turin on Sunday.
It was Djokovic's seventh ATP Finals victory, making him the
player with the highest number of victories in the 'Masters'
tournament.
"You are an inspiration to everyone, but especially to us
players," said Sinner of his Serb rival after the match.
"Congratulations for this week and beyond. You started the
season by winning and you have ended it by winning," he added.
The 22-year-old from South Tyrol also said he was a "different
player" with respect to the start of the year, adding: "Now we
hope to do well in the Davis Cup" finals in Malaga later this
