(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 8 - Pope Francis on Wednesday reiterated his call for an end to the world's many conflicts, specifically mentioning the war in Ukraine and the one between Israel and Hamas.
    "Let us not forget martyred Ukraine and let us think of the Palestinian and Israeli peoples: may the Lord bring a just peace," the pope said during his weekly general audience in St Peter's Square.
    "Children are suffering; the sick are suffering, and many young people are dying.
    "War is always a defeat. Let us not forget: War is always a defeat". (ANSA).
