(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 17 - Italy's qualified for the knockout
stage of the 2023 Davis Cup on Sunday, with Matteo Arnaldi's
6-4, 6-3 victory over Sweden's Leo Borg in Bologna giving the
Azzurri the point they needed to progress from Group A and book
their ticket for the November's finals in Malaga.
The contest against Sweden will go on, nevertheless, with
Lorenzo Sonego set to face Elias Ymer in the other singles
match, and Simone Bolelli and Andrea expected to face Vavassori
Filip Bergevi and Andre Goransson in the doubles. (ANSA).
