Italy will not access the European
Stability Mechanism bailout fund as long as Giorgia Meloni is
premier, she told the House Wednesday.
"As long as there is a government led by me, Italy will never be
able to access the ESM. And I fear that the others will not be
able to access it either," said Meloni in response to a question
from Third-Pole MP Luigi Marattin on the government's intentions
regarding the ongoing ratification of the ESM.
