Pope Francis on Wednesday enjoyed a
performance by the circus act 'The Black Blues Brothers' in St
Peter's Square after his regular general audience.
He was visibly entertained, applauded warmly, and later greeted
the performers, five Kenyan acrobats, one by one.
The act is currently on a world tour with over 800 dates.
Twice a hit at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Black Blues
Brothers has also been dubbed the best physical theatre act by
the Theatre Weekly magazine.
They have already won more than half a million spectators
worldwide, including the pontiff, who had already enjoyed their
prowess during the Jubilee of Popular Spectacle a couple of
years ago.
