The pilot of a helicopter that
crashed near Biella in Piedmont Wednesday morning has been taken
to hospital in serious condition.
The copter, which was being used to transport construction
materials, crashed into woods in the Montesinaro area of the
Valle Cervo.
Fire crews rushed to the scene and extracted the pilot, the sole
occupant of the copter, from the wreckage.
Carabinieri are trying to establish what happened.
