Eni said Wednesday that Italy has
been affected after Russia cut gas supplies to Europe and
completely halted supplies via the Nord Stream 1 pipeline.
Gazprom said it was stopping supplies via Nord Stream 1 for
three days due to maintenance work.
Eni said Gazprom had told it that Italy would get around 20
million cubic metres of gas on Wednesday, down from around 27
million in recent days.
