Carlo Bonomi, the president of
industrial confederation Confindustria, on Thursday expressed
dismay at the political uncertainty resulting from the 5-Star
Movement's decision not to take part in a confidence vote on a
government decree.
"We are watching with total incredulity the political
developments that clearly ignore the commitments that the
government has taken on... with the emergency of the
international situation and the lead role the Italian government
has in Europe and in NATO," he said.
"These manifestations of total irresponsibility leave us
speechless".
