Serbia midfielder Nemanja Matic said
Monday that he joined AS Roma to be reunited with Jose Mourinho
after previously playing under the coach at Chelsea and
Manchester United.
"The negotiations were rapid because I have the same ambition as
the coach and the club," Matic, who joined Roma as a free agent
after his contract with Manchester United elapsed, told a news
conference.
"Mourinho and I know each other very well. I am very happy to be
here with him again, of course.
"He was he reason why I chose Roma. Roma as a club is attractive
to players and to me, and I am very happy to be a part of this
club".
