The Italian region of Friuli Venezia
Giulia and the autonomous province of Bolzano have turned dark
red on the map depicting the COVID-19 situation of the European
Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), which was
updated on Thursday.
Dark red indicates that the 14-day cumulative COVID-19 case
notification rate is 500 or more.
Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Val d'Aosta, Liguria, Marche, Lazio and
the province of Trento are red on the map.
This means that the 14-day cumulative COVID-19 case notification
rate ranges from 75 to 200 and the test positivity rate is 4% or
more, or that the 14-day cumulative COVID-19 case notification
rate is more than 200 but less than 500.
None of Europe's regions are low-risk green on the updated map.
