(ANSA) - Rome, June 9 - Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio on a
visit to Athens Tuesday called for common EU rules on tourist
flows.
"We need uniform rules and criteria for mobility", he said at
a press conference with Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias.
These were required, he said, so as "not to break up the
tourism market".
Dendias said he had been satisfied with Di Maio's update on
Italy's good COVID epidemic stats and that Greece would
gradually lift all restrictions on Italian tourists starting on
Monday and ending at the end of June.
