Former Berlusconi TV journalist
Emilio Fede is ailing and at 88 imprisonment would "go against
the sense of humanity" so he should serve his four year, seven
month term for pimping in the so-called 'Ruby bis' case under
house arrest, a judge ruled Friday.
In April April 11 the supreme Court of Cassation upheld two
sentences handed down for involvement in bringing prostitutes to
parties at the Arcore home near Milan of ex-premier and Forza
Italia leader Silvio Berlusconi.
The court confirmed the jail term of four years, seven months
for former Berlusconi TV channel news anchor Fede and of two
years, 10 months for the ex-premier's former dental hygienist
and ex Lombardy regional councillor Nicole Minetti.
